We just checked into our hotel in Gulf Shores, Ala., and there are sex mirrors in this room!

Anyway, it looks like this weekend is going to be pretty cool. But in case you’re not here to see it in person, make sure you catch the live-stream on MySpace, with performances by Coheed & Cambria, Paul Oakenfold, Wilco, Jack White and more!

Swimwear aficionados We Are Handsome know how to make the ladies look good in lycra and have graced the bods of Nicki Minaj and Rihanna alike. Their dreamy digital portraits of flora and fauna, and city and landscapes, take you away to a place that manifests summertime.  Who wouldn’t want to feel animalistic with a lion-faced one-piece adorned across their torso?  Their most recent additions of late ’50s and early ’60s-inspired swims, maxi skirts and playful dresses are a bold array that pack a hard punch with their vibrant colors.

They even teamed up with masters of makeup Mac for their Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia debut.

Imagine yourself at the beach. Blue skies, nice sea breeze, salty air, scantily-clad young people. Pretty nice, right?

Now, imagine someone shuts down the nearest street, surrounding beach storefronts and restaurants, slaps five stages down on that bitch and opens it up to musicians like the Dave Matthew’s Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, String Cheese Incident, Wilco, Skrillex and the Flaming Lips.

That’s right, imagine seeing the Flaming Lips perform Dark Side of the Moon, on the beach.

Well, thank the beautiful universe you don’t have to imagine it. And thank the Hangout crew in Gulf Shores, Ala., for bringing Hangout Music Festival 2012 into your life, May 18-20.

Last year’s festivities were rather dope. We had a great time, catching up with acts like Big Gigantic and Beats Antique between killer sets from artists that ran almost the entire musical gamut.

And this year, we can wait to do it all over again. With so many great artists on the bill, it’s hard to pick and choose. But we got you.
