Telephoned “Last Night” + Remixes + Music Video
Dance pop duo Telephoned (comprised of Sammy Bananas and Maggie Horn) has a new, sexy release on Fool’s Gold.

Telephoned’s new single “Last Time” is a really slowed-down, funky dance tune, something welcoming compared to all the 128 BPM bangers being played these days. The accompanying music video features vocalist Maggie Horn singing throughout. It tells the story of a man trying to win her over, though she doesn’t seem to want to be with him, and that it will be the “last time” she falls for his tricks. Sammy Bananas makes a fishing cameo. The choice of locations and style makes you feel you’re looking at a music video from ’80s New York.

The release comes with some stellar remixes. Krystal Klear’s remix (which, I should mention, is a free download for this release!) adds a higher tempo with a slap-bass and more energized percussion. Amtrac takes the original and turns it into a disco-house delight, with perfectly chopped vocals (something he always gets right). Kutcorners’ remix slows things back down in tempo, giving a good sense of closure to this funky release. Also included is JR Blender’s remix of Telephoned’s “The Vow,” giving it a touch of rock and reggae.
