Upcoming in Gainesville: Adventure Club, Datsik and Poseidon Tour

Holy crap Gainesville, your wallets are about to take a beating. Seriously, these next eight days are going to test your sleep cycle – and probably your liver. Here are three massive events coming up you shouldn’t miss. And if you do, well, than re-evaluate your life.

Friday September 21: Dayglow Featuring Adventure Club

Dayglow (now named “Life In Color”) is making a massive appearance in Gainesville. And by massive, I mean “Alachua County Fairgrounds  massive. Yes, the same place that held the impressive Tiesto and Bassnectar concerts. If you have never been to or heard of Dayglow, you are in for quite a night. They up their production every season, so that’s better sound, better light, and more paint.

And if all that awesome isn’t enough to convince you, the headliner is Dubstep juggernauts Adventure Club. Relevancy alert: Dayglow Gainesville the fist ever Dayglow with a Dubstep headliner. Opening sets will be by Dayglow resident David Solano and Apollo V.

Saturday September 22: Datsik with Delta Heavy, Bare Noize and AFK

Saturday sees Datsik’s Gainesville debut at Stereo (adjacent to Vault). Datsik has been in the dubstep scene for a minute (who the hell doesn’t know his classic collaboration with Excision “Swagga“?) and is pulling all the strings for this show. Saturday is part of his Firepower tour, hauling  50,000 wats of massive sound and the Vortex Lighting Rig. He isn’t coming alone, though. He is bringing an entire bass crew to play with him. Rounding out the night are Delta Heavy, Bare Noize and AFK. That’s more than enough bass for one Saturday night. Getting it all started will be Gainesville’s own Pillager.

Check out our  ticket giveaway for this show, cause free is better than broke.

Tuesday September 25: Porter Robinson back to back with Zedd

Last, but not least, we have the Poseidon Tour with Porter Robinson and Zedd playing back to back at Vault. That means at the SAME TIME.

Porter already left his mark in Gainesville playing twice last year (once opening for Tiesto). He seems quite ready for round three. Zedd topped the beatport charts with his single “Spectrum” and will be making his Gainesville debut. There styles mixed together in one set should be a real banger of a show. Touring and opening for them is OWSLA labelmate Nick Thayer, sure to set the right tone for the night.

Tickets: 305-793-7437
