Summer’s Last Stand – NCMF 2012

Summer’s Last Stand – NCMF 2012

It feels like summer has came and went. At least, that’s how it is here in the Windy City as dropping temperatures remind us to brace ourselves, hoodie weather is coming.

But not yet, bitches! This weekend, it’s time for Summer’s last stand, North Coast Music Festival. One last chance to rock your neon tank and bro hat until next years’  festival season.

Starting Friday, Union Park will play host for the third NCMF put on by React Presents. The venue will  feature four stages and two silent disco areas. This year, the festival is extended over three days with a stellar line up and has some some great after parties planned for the holiday weekend.

Friday’s line-up includes hometown hero’s Midnight Conspiracy, Dani Deahl, Phives, Milk N Cookies, along with our homies Papadosio, Two Fresh, and Minnesota.  Also, headlining performances from Knife Party, Axwell and STS9. Definitely a nice slap in the face to kick things off the first night.

Saturday kicks off with another pool of local talent like Zebo, Kid Color and the always legendary Zebo. We are pretty stoked to see Future Rock, Beats Antique and Girl Talk, who still gets us moving like nobody else. He absolutely destroyed Electric Forest this year!

Sunday’s standouts include Big Boi of Outkast fame, Maya Jane Coles, Digitalism, and closing it all out will be Pretty Lights.

You can still by tickets for the entire three days or or single day tickets. Also check out the site for all the after party options. We will definitely see you fuckers out there!
