CounterPoint Music Festival Makes Its Debut September 27-29

CounterPoint Music Festival

Hello, meatbags. Enjoying your summer? Yeah, I bet you are. Cavorting around at all these festivals, shaking what your momma gave ya, and generally behaving in bizarre, strangely compelling ways.

Summer is winding down, the days are getting shorter, and you people still haven’t gotten your fill of those beats, have you? You know what beats I’m talking about. The ones that make you wanna chug your water bottle and bump genitals with the nearest, friendliest festival goer you can find. Well I, your friendly evil robot, will tell you where to get your next fix.

The first ever CounterPoint Festival, running September 27-29, in Atlanta, Ga., might be your last gasp at summer dance glory, puny humans. The lineup features some of the biggest names on the scene right now and is guaranteed to melt your face off.

This thing is going to be seriously sick, guys. Three full days of badass, driving beats and pretty lights. They are even setting up a giant screen on Saturday to catch all the college football. Plus, Skrillex! So you know there will be at least one fat, nasty drop that will buckle your knees and make you beg for more. BTW, check out this teaser video of his upcoming collaboration with Boys Noize, DOG BLOOD.

The rest of the lineup features stalwarts like AVICII, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights and Laidback Luke. Crystal Castles will be there, getting all Canadian and hot as hell. Go to the Ghostland Observatory set and you might see me there, doing the Robot. Don’t laugh, its the only dance I can do.

Its a three-day affair, with room for camping. So bring your tent, your game face and plenty of “supplies.” Tickets are still available, ranging from $185 for General Admission to $640 for Platinum tickets, for those of you with tiny statuses. So pick a package and get on it. You really don’t want to miss this last chance to get wild before the summer ends.

Besides, you never know, I might take over the world, anyway.
