Madeon Live In Gainesville July 30th

Don’t act like you haven’t heard this name before.

Since being thrown into the spotlight after his viral “Pop Culture” live mashup, which now has more than 12 million views on YouTube, the 18 year old has released massive singles including “Icarus” and “Finale.” He remixed Deadmau5′s “Raise Your Weapon” into a dance anthem, started his own label, Popcultur, and has performed alongside the biggest names in the industry for thousands at such events as Coachella, Ultra and Electric Daisy.

And now, this Monday, Madeon will make his Gainesville debut.

Brought to you by Committee Entertainment and The Dynasty Group, Madeon will be playing at The Vault, Monday, July 30th. Unlike most of the heavy hitters that have come through Gainesville in the past couple of years, Madeon’s style brings something different to the table. If anything, fans would describe his sound as being more lively and danceable as opposed to being a bonafide “banger”. Being French certainly attributes to that, as his productions have a very French House feel to them, like a lively Daft Punk vibe.

That’s not all you’ll be getting in your music meal though. Adrian Villaverde and Aeriform will be opening up the night, providing you with a combination of smooth and funky jams to ease you into Madeon’s performance.

Tickets are currently about $20 online. But if you can’t make it to this show, you can catch him in the southeast area the next day at Vain Nightclub in Orlando, Identity Festival August 2nd in Atlanta, or the August 4th in Miami.
