Drop The Lime And Flosstradamus Saturday At Grand Central

This Saturday, two amazing headliners will be playing at Grand Central; Drop the Lime and Flosstradamus. Bought to you by Poplife and The Overthrow, this event is one I have been waiting many, many weeks for.

Known mainly for their trap style tunes and blending it with other genres of electornic music, Chicago-based Flosstradamus (comprised of J2K and Autobot) has exploded in popularity over the last couple of months. With releases on both Diplo’s and A-Trak’s labels, Mad Decent and Fool’s Gold respectively, Flosstradamus is sure to bring a very unique set different than most dub, house or electro duos. Expect to hear a lot of hi-hats and snares with godly amounts of sub-bass.

Drop the Lime (real name Luca Venezia), founder of the well-known label Trouble & Bass, is going to bring nothing less than what his label implies. An interesting thing to note about Venezia is that he is known to blend electronic elements with rockabilly and blues guitar riffs, making his sounds a combination of high energy and fun, swinging beats. And if that isn’t enough to sell you, he dresses with more class than Don Draper sippin’ champagne at a yacht party.

Playin alongside Flosstradamus and Venezia will be Miami locals Mike Deuce, Damaged Goods, Troy Kurtz and O’Grime.

Advance tickets are $15.

Oh, and did we mention this event is sponsored by Jose Cuervo? Expect some massive drink specials!
