JeRK Remixes And Brings His Own Magic
If you’re a fan of Fresh Wet Paint, you already know our main-man JeRK can straight make love to a dance floor with his mixing skills. No doubt you’ve been jamming to his mixes Make Moves and Voodoo, and we’ve heard you asking for more.
Sorry for the delay, a new mix is coming real soon, but he’s been busy in his Chi-town pad getting his production game tight, and we’re finally ready to let you in on what’s been going on!
We’re blasting you with five fresh-as-fuck tracks from our favorite boss-man. The first is a chill-down remix of Amtrac’s “Came Along.” The vocals become almost ghostly on this rework, and we love it.
Next up is new school meets old school with this booty bass banger. Sure to get your head bobbin in true JeRK fashion.
Next up is his remix of Jarren Brenton’s “Shut Up Bitch.” This is some serious funky tech goodness, with just enough gangsta swagger to make a trick mean mug.
But our boy doesn’t need a base to work magic. This next tune is a JeRK original, full of dark atmospheres and smooth textures. Our boy likes to get a little weird, a little dirty, and this track captures that vibe completely.
And as if that wasn’t sexy enough, here’s a mind-blowing edit of Claude VonStroke’s massive “Wut,” taken to the next level with a vocal track of Joe Rogan talking about the magical beauty that is Deemsters. Wtf indeed.
And for funsies, here’s an edit of Santigold JeRK’s been dropping for a while. If you’ve been a fan of JeRK from the beginning, this should sound a bit familiar. This track always brings me back to the old fucking days, jammin out in the living room to some private set goodness. And now it’s yours to enjoy in your own living room!
Hell fuck yeah.
