Juke Ellington

Juke Ellington

Break out the track suit, high tops, fresh fade and bust that Juke. I’m talking about the dance genre known for intricate drum patterns, chopped up samples and fancy footwork. One of my favorite producers in the genre, Juke Ellington, has been killing it the past few weeks with tons of releases via Soundcloud.

Hailing from Germany originally, but now living in Chicago, Juke Ellington has a certain swagger to his tracks that will leave a dancefloor vibing, even those not familiar with the Juke sound.

First up we have 6 Minutes of Ghetto, a mini mix of sorts which starts as a slow melodic love tune only to be taken over by pulsating bass. The bounce is infectious, and head bobbin starts immediately.

Next up we have Pan’s Flute, a fast-paced banger with hypnotic horns. Can’t help but get sucked into the whole tune.

Last One is Weed All Day Long, a jazzy Juke with plenty of swing and a definite body shaker.

Check out his Facebook and Twitter, but mostly his Soundcloud as he has been pumping out quality tunes on a daily basis as of late.
