Digitalism Tours North America To Support ‘I Love You Dude’

Digitalism I Love You Dude North American Tour poster

Digitalism I Love You Dude North American Tour posterWe first fell in love with Digitalism back in 2007 with the release of their debut album Idealism. From start to finish, that album is a classic example of how to do electro-post-punk fusion right.

To this day, dance floors across the world get down hard to jams like Magnets, Pogo and Home Zone, and we’re sure they’ll be here for much longer.

This Summer, the German duo released their much-awaited for second LP, I Love You Dude, packing the same sexy, punk-laden punch as its predecessor.

On this album, Digitalism have perfected the electro-pop anthem on songs like 2 Hearts and Circles. They even hook up with decade-hero Julian Casablancas for Forest Gump.

And of course, they leave vocals behind entirely for some straight electro grooves on space-age tracks like Blitz, Miami Showdown, and Antibiotics.

But here’s the best part, Digitalism are about to kick off a North American tour in support of the new album, and an upcoming release of their Circles EP, featuring a remix from Dillon Francis.

It’s sure to be a great tour, kicking off in Wet Paint’s backyard of Chicago, Il., through to finish off in California in mid-December.

We won’t miss it, and you shouldn’t either. It’s going to be quiet a banger. Just check out this video to get a taste of what to expect from their live performances.

And while you’re at it, listen to this dope remix from Dillon Francis. You’re welcome. See you at the show!
