Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs On Tour And On Film
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is way cooler than you could ever imagine. It’s actually one guy, known to his mother as Orlando Higginbottom, producing what he calls quite broadly “dance music.” Higginbottom thinks sub-genres are for near-sighted tools.
TEED is bringing a fresh, fun, not-too-serious energy to dance floors everywhere as he embarks on a mini-tour across North America. Check out the dates below to see if he’s coming to your town.
Surely, a TEED show is not one to be missed. As evidenced by this sick video produced by UK’s Channel 4 and directed by David Terranova for Falko Haus, Higginbottom brings the good times with crazy costumes, on-stage dancers and plenty of confetti canons.
TEED is great for fans of Cut Copy, Amtrac, Metronomy and that sort. His music moves effortlessly between the worlds of electro bangers and indie-fuck sing-alongs, two worlds Wet Paint loves to see come together. Like a true visionary, he doesn’t put himself in the confines of a single box or artistic direction. But he’d probably argue against the visionary label, choosing instead to think of himself as simply “a producer who’s ended up dressing up as a dinosaur and singing.”
But don’t take my word for it. Watch this video and just try not to fall in love.
