Seriously, it’s all the rage these days. A quick little history on the genre for those still unfamiliar: Dave Nada (the Godfather of Moombahton) was going to DJ a house party for his younger cousin. They had been playing some reggaeton and the place was bumpin. Not wanting to kill the flow with the much higher tempo electronic music he plays, he decided to take the bangers he was going to play down to the tempo of the raggaeton. And the rest is history.

That was about one year ago. Since, the genre has been gaining a lot of attention, even spawning sister genres like the raunchy moombahcore and the deep moombahsoul. With original moombahton producers like JWLS, Munchi, Alvin Risk, GTA and Tittsworth, and support by the likes of Diplo, Craze, Laidback Luke and even Skrillex, you’ll be sure to hear a lot more moombahton then ever before.
