Camp Bisco 2011 Lineup, So Good You’ll Cry
Camp Bisco is celebrating its 10-year anniversary July 7-9 and going double-digits is a big deal. That being said, they’re pulling all the stops to fill their five stages with acts to make every hip kid stop in their tracks and drool all over their v-neck.
A few days ago, Bisco announced the second leg of their lineup, featuring some really amazing acts like Ratatat, Four Tet, and a DJ set from Special Disco Version, James Murphy and Pat Mohoney of motherfucking LCD Soundsystem. The band may be over but the spirit lives on and you can be a part of it yo.
This all comes in addition to the already epic laundry list of performers including Cut Copy, Bassnectar, MSTRKRFT AND Death From Above 1979, Ghostland Observatory, Rusko, Wolfgang Gartner, Neon Indian, Nero, 12th Planet, the Hood Internet (ie – the new and improved Girl Talk) and so many more but I almost can’t stand to keep going because it’s just too beautiful.
Of course, headlining all of it is ever-epic Disco Biscuits, the band that started it all 10 years ago when they formed the summer festival.
It all takes place at Indian Lookout County Club in Mariaville, NY, a bit less than three and a half hours from NYC, just north of Albany. There will be two main stages situated on the 200-acre land, as well as three dance tents sponsored by DFA Records, Mad Decent and Damon Dash respectively.
Three day general admission tickets are so reasonably priced at $160. Of course, you have to get there, but should that stop you? Should it?! I dunno, you have to answer that for yourself. But here’s one thing – It won’t stop me.
