GTA Bringing Big Things

GTAOver the past year, I’ve kept close watch over a few producers. Some of them have had releases, and for the others, I’m sure, it’s only a matter of time.

Today I would like to introduce you all to GTA (formerly Grnd Thft Audio). Comprised of Matt Toth and Julio Mejia, this Miami duo has been producing quite the unique tunes. With support from the likes of Laidback Luke, Afrojack, PeaceTreaty and others, expect to see a lot of these guys in coming months.

In terms of solo work, Matt goes under the alias Van Toth, and will be performing at the Radius Festival in California in March alongside Avicci, Mr. Oizo and Datsik just to name a few. His work has been played on Tiesto’s Club Life twice and was featured in Wolfgang Gartner‘s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.

Julio goes by JWLS. A lot of his recent work has been Moombahton, which has been supported and blogged by genre-pioneer Dave Nada, as well as being played on Nada’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Here are some of my picks of their work definitely worth checking out:

And my personal favorite:

GPS is a co-owner and editor at Fresh Wet Paint, resides in Miami, and kinda likes music. Stalk him on Twitter.
