Electric Zoo, Big And Hearty 2010 Line Up

Electric Zoo logo

Electric Zoo logoThe summer festival season is our favorite time of year, and while there are plenty of awesome shows to go to, we’re especially stoked for Labor Day weekend.

This holiday, our staff will be stretched across the country to bring you pan-American festival coverage. Not only will we be keeping you up to date on the happenings of Gainesville’s nascent Big And Hearty Fest, featuring acts like Big Gigantic, Attack Decay, local favorites the Big Uly Band, and Fresh Wet Paint’s musical guru DJ JeRK, but we are proud to say we should be bringing back some awesome photos and interviews from the second-annual Electric Zoo Electronic Festival in New York City!

This is pretty big news. In case you haven’t heard, the line-up is more than hard hitting.  We’re talking Chemical Brothers, Moby, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Major Lazer, Boys Noize, A-Trak, Wolfgang Gartner, Afrojack, Fake Blood, Flying Lotus, LA Riots, Rusko and WOW! I really only just got started.

Last year, 26,000 people attended the Zoo, held at the spacious Randall’s Island Park. Four stages will be erected for the 70+ artists to totally tear down with their non-stop bass attack. A two-day pass is only $132 and can be purchased here.

If possible, check out Sirius XM’s Area channel every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET to hear some Electric Zoo-centric radio programming.

Two days of madness from coast to coast, you know the blog with the most. Keep it tuned to Fresh Wet Paint this Labor Day for all that’s fresh and sticky-icky-icky.
